Aquamarine and Spring

Welcome Spring! How great is it to start to see all the new buds on the trees, daffodils just starting to appear and little lambs?!

We've started to have a bit of a spring clean in our workshop the past week and I've come across a couple of images of pieces I've made.
The first one is a glorious pale blue Aquamarine stone set in gold.

Aquamarine is the birthstone for March and is thought to be a calming stone and to promote courage and fortitude. Goodness know we could all do with a bit of that at times.

The second piece I found a photo of is an unusual necklace made with a silver piece engraved with butterflies and flowers and a flower hanging off the chain further round.
The design came from an old broken Ivory brooch and just seemed to work well in silver.
