Thoughtful Stocking Fillers

Amulets can be put on bracelets, necklaces, key-rings.
If you are looking for a thoughtful gift with a difference this year then why not opt for one of our handcrafted and fabulous Amulets.  They make wonderful personal presents and in the absence of loved ones they offer a little peace of mind too.
The Triangle Amulet

We are often asked to handcraft good luck charms or amulets into necklaces, earrings, key-rings, bracelet & ankle charms or even cuff-links. Amulets are said to keep their owner from harm, protect them from danger and safeguard against injury. Whether you believe or not, an amulet that's worn on a necklace has the added bonus of being close to your or your loved one's heart.

The Triangle amulet shown on the right represents the age-old concept of three. Heaven, Earth and the underworld; father, mother, child, the trinities of almost every ancient religion including the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

Our ever popular amulet collection has been available for over 6 years and in that time we have shipped out, wrapped up and sold many many Heart, Cross, Evil Eye, Peace, Hand of Fatima, Triangle and Horseshoe amulets. By popular demand they are available in silver and gold so these little darlings suit all budgets. We have recently sold our amulets for a key ring for someone's first home, a milestone Birthday present, a charm to put on inherited pearls to re-style them, a charm for a babies pram, earrings for that first day of university, a charm to put over a bottle of bubbly for someone's wedding day, and a stocking filler for someone who loves horses. Whatever your beliefs, we love our amulet collection jewellery, and they bring a little peace of mind for so many loved ones out there. After all, with any gift it's the thought that counts.
The Heart Amulet

The Heart has long been used as a symbol to refer to the spiritual, emotional and in the past also intellectual core of a human being. As the heart was once widely believed to be the seat of the human mind, the word 'heart' continues to be used poetically to refer to the soul and stylised depictions of hearts are used as prevalent symbols representing love.
The Peace Amulet

The internationally recognised symbol for Peace was originally designed for the British nuclear disarmament movement by Gerald Holtom in 1958. The symbol is a combination of the semaphore the letter 'N' formed by a person holding two flags in an upside-down 'V' and the letter 'D' is formed by holding one flag pointed straight up and the other pointed straight down.

The Evil Eye Amulet

The Evil Eye is a superstition believed by many cultures to be able to cause injury or bad luck for the person at whom it is directed for reasons of envy or dislike. Wearing the evil eye is thought to divert it's attention.

Hand of Fatima - The Khams is a palm-shaped amulet popular throughout the Middle East and North Africa and is a defense against the Evil Eye.
As well as being an important religious symbol the Cross amulet captures and disseminates good and evil forces. It acts as an aversion to spirits and also depicts conflicting forces. The left bar is passive, the right active, the base matter and the top spirit.

The Horseshoe Amulet
The Horseshoe amulet can be seen as a version of the crescent moon. They are thought to bring good luck to their owner. Horseshoes can be hung either way but it's thought that luck will run out of it if it is open at the bottom.

This necklace would also be ideal for anyone who loves horses. For that extra special gift why not add a few sparkly diamonds to the horseshoe to make it stand out as a shoe? Or to personalise your amulet you could add a birth stone or have the horseshoe engraved with a message of love.

We hope you love the endless possibilities that our amulets bring.  Please feel free to get in touch if you would like any further details on this individual collection.

Good luck with your Christmas shopping and stay posted to find out more about our special Christmas collections which will be hitting the shop and website in the next few weeks.

Best wishes
